The Pier, Lairg does good food, cake, ice cream and coffee with views over the loch. 

 

Sid’s spice, Brora. Recently voted the second best Indian restaurant in Scotland, lovely to eat in, great to takeaway and enjoy on the deck.

 

Luigi’s, Dornoch is a fun and stylish café and restaurant.

 

The Courthouse, Dornoch is a nice café with sofas by the the stove at one end and industrial style counter at the other below a huge mural of people important to Dornoch past and present.

 

The Trawler, Golspie does brilliant fish and chips, seats out the back are good for a sunny day if not take away. 

 

Mei’s Chinese Takeaway, Golspie open in the evenings, convenient and comforting.

 

Poppy’s Café Golspie does very good soup and cake and has interesting specials with locally sourced produce.

 

Coffee Bothy, Golspie is in the car park and has nice food, cake, soup and coffee.

 

Harry Gow bakeries are located in Brora and Dornoch and stock capaldi’s ice cream. The Dornoch branch is sit in and does a larger selection of hot food.

 

Capaldi’s Ice cream shop, main street, Golspie. A small but magical place. Be careful coming outside again its right on the road.

There is a co-op in Golspie open till 10pm and a slightly larger one in Brora. Tain has a Tesco, Lidl and Asda. Morrison’s by Alness. Dornoch Farm butchers and Campbells fish shop in Golspie both very good. If you would like us to have fresh produce collected for your arrival please get in touch.
